I greet you with an exclamation mark as I'm having quite a headache today.
At work, one of my colleagues near my workstation played EDM (electronic dance music) which is a music genre my ears can't really tolerate. Even though he listens to it via the headphones, the sound is still blaring and comprehensible and I tell you, it does my head in when the "beat drops".
FYI, to them (EDM lovers) it might sound like a climactic musical climb followed by the drop which is like an implosion of noise, but to me it just sounds like a renewable cycle of systemic noise. Don't get me wrong, I love some EDMs which resemble rhythms which tell a story (or at least a sense of direction), but not the type that sounds like 'House' or 'Garage' music genre, so don't even ask me what those are!
Henceforth, if you're my friend, I will steer clear of your EDM eargasmic activity. Or delete them from your playlist when you're gone.
Kbye.
